NHC time changes?

#1 Postby air360 » Sat Jun 11, 2005 4:12 pm

ok...maybe i just remember wrong...but it seems as if the NHC are now releasing everything on the half hours so far this season...as in 1130 and at 530...wasnt it on the hour 11 and 5 last season or is that just my bad memory?

No... it's still officially 5am, 11am, 5pm, 11pm, but the advisory is almost always out early.

Yes, they try to have them out just before local news broadcasts.

thats odd becuase for the past few advisories ive noticed them coming out way late and even the header shows it being on the half hour. Its 523PM and the 5pm outlook still has not come out...and here is the header from the 11am

Usually when they have less they have to talk about or new to add from the previous, you would see the outlooks and advisories come out earlier than their scheduled times.
