If you have a Davis WMII/Vantage or some other home station,
please PM me.
If we've got enough folks here with stations, I'm going to ask Marshall
to make a forum for station owners.
Thanks!
David

Thanks to all for the replies, I've asked Marshall if he would be interested
in making a "Personal weather stations" forum.
My idea would be that this will be a place for weather station owners to
converse, as well as a great place for people interested in buying one
to ask questions and do research.

I've had a weather station at my home since 1974. While living in Illinois from 1974-1997, I had a continuous record of data there...without fail.
Here in Scottsdale, my station consists of a thermometer, rain gauge, and several barometers (both mercurial and analog). The homeowners association here won't let me put up wind equipement...but I would love to have it again.
As editor of the American Weather Observer from 1983 - 1997, I have a list of weather fans and observers from around the country. Many are still active online or elsewhere.
Let me know if you have an interest in a particular location, and I'll try to locate someone who might still have a backyard station there.
Good luck with your hobby. Shoot by any questions anytime. Would be happy to get your monthly data sent to me also if you do a summary.
