NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
1130 AM EDT THU JUN 16 2005

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE OVER THE SOUTHERN BAY OF CAMPECHE
AND ADJACENT LAND AREAS. TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED
DUE THE CLOSE PROXIMITY OF THIS SYSTEM TO LAND...AND UPPER-LEVEL
WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME LESS FAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT.
HOWEVER...PERIODS OF LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL COULD STILL OCCUR OVER
PORTIONS OF SOUTHEASTERN MEXICO DURING THE NEXT DAY OR SO. THE AIR
FORCE RESERVE RECONNAISSANCE MISSION INTO THE SYSTEM TODAY HAS BEEN
CANCELLED.

CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS CONTINUE OVER THE NORTH-CENTRAL CARIBBEAN
SEA...THE SOUTHWESTERN ATLANTIC...AND ADJACENT LAND AREAS. TROPICAL
STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED HERE OR ELSEWHERE THROUGH FRIDAY.

I knew that even if were look better this morning, that they wouldn't be bother with it, because it was so close to land.. Now there's not really much else to watch out there. Typical in June.

Yeah it is moving southwest into Mexico. No chance for development into the Pacific. The Eastern Pacific been very quite.

The EPAC is REALLY quiet... no activity since Adrian a month ago. Usually when the EPAC is quiet, the Atlantic is very active.

Completely agree with the "a watched pot never boils" statement. Well, to an extent, of course. Again, it's only June, and only 2/3's of seasons have a June storm in the first place. Muchless two.

It would be horribly boring for all us weather buffs, but WHAT A WONDERFUL BLESSING THAT WOULD BE!!
