Right now I have the IE window squashed way down in size, but when I scroll past a picture, it's very obvious that it's not work related!

Excellant suggestion! Nothing more conspicious than a giant STORM 2K banner or dancing avatars. If your like me, the window is up and down....up and down....at quick glance it looks like a chat frame window........which is highly frowned upon.

Oh I know the feeling. Think about me - working the message board - checking PM's and doing site mtx - all these windows open and the boss walks in my cubicle.....once I reached down and said my computer is locked up and rebooted the whole thing.

That's true, those that don't access the homepage that often will certainly benefit with the existing links and links that may be added. Great way to navigate the site. I was starting to access the forums directly, but for the most part was using the homepage. :D

like the color range "as is" but definitely clashes with this messageboard. i know that is being picky but as far as the homepage width, might want to adjust page width to 800 pixels (or less) to trim off the white and keep all text within parameters without needing a horizontal scrollbar. p

thank you soooooooo much for the inclusion on the links page!!!

(just wait till y'all see the NEW pawleewurx.com! coming soon!) ;)

We set the new site for 1024 x 768 intentionally. For the bulk of the pages 800 x 600 just didn't work. We will dress up the Home Page some before the actual start of the season and that should take care of some of the white space :-) Thanks for the feedback :-)

It's great to have access to the data and resources without leaving the site. You've made an important step and it is appreciated.

Here's another location put together by an ambitious, successful, but clearly committed acquaintance of mine, Jesse Ferrell. Not that you want to copy his work or methods, and not that we want the nearly 6,000 participants he has...but it does offer food for thought in a wide range of weather related areas.

I like simplicity...and I like the fact that Storm2k is "about people who enjoy people who enjoy studying weather" .... keeping people at the focus and weather as the common denominator, not the other way around.

That's a nice site! I've used it in past years.:-) We tried to make the Weather-Central a resource center to help with the "I know I had a link to a site for ... but can't find it!" As the Forecast Group gets rocking we'll add their input to the site as well
