Too many probably :) Reading, weather, volcanoes, MMORPG gaming, quilting/crafts, gardening, and enjoying my family and all life's blessings. Most think it's funny to like gaming/extreme weather and quilting/gardening LOL about as opposite as it gets.

Most of mine are military-issue knives from all countries...I have one Czech knife that is particularly utilitarian, w/o being "overheavy", and am looking at a Russian 1940 combat knife (the Moisin-Nagant bayonet was little more than a long spike, so "Uncle Joe" had these made up).

My rifles are also mil-spec, mostly from the WW II era. However, I did restore an 1842 de Chatellerault .75 smoothbore musket years ago; cut down for Confederate cavalry use, and one of 940 that made it through the Union blockade.

This is my seventh collection (for one reason or another, I had to sell the previous ones in turn)...I've been at it for about 36 years.

I used to be a member of the Antique Arms Appraisers Association and the Knifemaker's Guild, years back; and, lately, I'm advising some of my son's Tae Kwon Do fellow practitioners in the selection, care and storage of suitable Oriental edged weapons (katana, wakizashi, naginata, etc.).

My first rifle was a Czech pre-war VZ-24, soon followed with a Gewehr 88 "commission rifle" (black powder cartridge) and a 7.35 Carcano carbine. It's all downhill from there, but the ONE rifle I have never had the pleasure of owning is the one I wanted first of all...a DWM pre-1935 Karabiner 98K, Weimar proofed.

Hiking, reading, hearing live music (supporting local, not national acts), gardening (used to really be into this but I still enjoy it), sewing, baking (winter!), etc.

Aside from weather-related activities, motorcycling, fishing, gardening - pretty much anything outside.
