Heck it sure looks like there's one inland over Mexico, but in a totally different location than the one we saw yesterday.

It looks like a naked swirl is moving a little faster wnw over the Luguna Terminos just SW of Campeche Mex.

any thoughts?

There is a spin there, however, it is just hard to see if that is at the surface or in the mid layers. You may be right, but nothing to worry about, over land and will likely die out before it could move off in any direction as slowly as it appears to be moving.
