Surprise...93L is now back offshore over the Bay of Campeche

Believe it or not, 93L (the low pressure system that didn't develop because it was over land) is now partially over water and not only that, convection has followed up its return to water. The system should continue moving north due to the steering flow that has changed due to the arrival of a shortwave trough over the SE states.

UL winds are not very favorable in the extreme southern Gulf and in fact are less favorable the farther north it goes, but if it wasn't for the UL winds we would be talking (believe it or not) of our 2ND named system in June....

I believe so. The GFS has been harping on this scenario for awhile now. Precip is way below normal this June so anything would be welcome down here.
