severe reports

#1 Postby WXBUFFJIM » Sat May 03, 2003 3:16 pm

There have been 1000 severe weather reports of hail, wind, and tornadoes in the past 3 days. There have been 99 tornadoes in 3 days in the central and southeastern United States. A very active pattern and a dangerous severe wx outbreak is expected later today and especially tomorrow through Monday from the midwest and southern plains through the ohio valley area. Probably 1000-1500 severe weather reports. Just something we don't need, but we're approaching the heart of severe weather season.

I will try to keep everyone updated on things in SE Nebraska. We had a good chance of severe weather earlier today, but some of that threat is starting to diminish.
