#10 is a trick question...and tricked me as well. Of course I chose "strong winds" as a meteorological condition not conductive of hurricane formation (thinking of course about shear; as anyone rational would).

Sure I chose Amelia Earhart....of course she flew into a hurricane during 1943, even though she dissapeared and IMO died six years earlier (ghosts can fly too ya know...boo!!
