Summer begins officially

Today the 21rst of June the longest day of the year is upon us as Summer starts officially.Here in Puerto Rico I haved not seen refershing temperatures since midmay refershing meaning low to mid 80's.Afterwards temps in the low to mid 90's with heat index ranging from 100-115F haved been the rule.

Enjoy your summer guys and girls 8-) We are in winter down here, only got to a high of 64 degrees today, may not seem to cold at all to you but its our lowest maximum temperature in at least 2 or 3 years here.

I don't know about San Juan, Cycloneye, but we actually have had BREEZE here on Culebra today...in sweltering heat but at least the air is moving! An almost full moon (that's tomorrow, it is being saved for my birthday!), Summer Solstice, and the largest *appearing* full moon since 1987 (sorry, that's a natural phenom, but not about the weather :oops: )
There's some AIR in the air! A good night to go sailing!

Glad to hear it! No worries, on night sails we don't get far out of Ensenada Honda - it's just for a couple hours of fun.

Wow...I hadn't read that far! I've got friends sailing back to Jost Van Dyke, and now I'm not regretting saying "Next time!"
Maybe I'll just enjoy the moonrise from the Dinghy Dock! Thanks!

Oh man I am sorry that the sailing is off due to the high seas caused by strong winds from tropical wave but as you said you will be at dock. :)
