Extremely nasty supercells in Missouri (near Garrett's area)
Look at this loop (the Southwestern Supercell absorbs another in SW MO near Joplin, MO.)

Look at the collision over Newton county! It looks like this monster will pass slightly to the north of Garrett. I pray it does!

Ohmigosh! That looks about 15 miles due east of Cantore's location. He is one lucky dude today.

This is the Springfield Missouri storm...tornado confirmed by spotters.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO
743 PM CDT SUN MAY 4 2003

...A TORNADO WARNING CONTINUES UNTIL 830 PM CDT FOR NORTHERN STONE...
NORTHERN CHRISTIAN AND SOUTHERN GREENE COUNTIES...

AT 738 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE A
TORNADIC THUNDERSTORM NEAR BILLINGS...OR 16 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
SPRINGFIELD...MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.

THE TORNADO IS EXPECTED TO BE NEAR...
BATTLEFIELD BY 750 PM CDT.
NIXA BY 755 PM CDT.
OZARK BY 800 PM CDT.
SPARTA BY 810 PM CDT.

THE TOWNS OF BOAZ...FREMONT HILLS...GALLOWAY AND LINDEN ARE ALSO IN
THE PATH OF THIS TORNADIC STORM.

AT 742 PM CDT TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTER REPORTED LARGE AND VERY
DAMAGING TORNADO ON THE GROUND 2 MILES EAST OF BILLINGS CROSSING
HIGHWAY 14.

THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND LIFE THREATENING SITUATION. THIS
STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG TO VIOLENT TORNADOES. IF YOU ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO...TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY!
