Broad Low Off Hondorus

#1 Postby bbadon » Fri Jun 24, 2005 12:12 pm

Looks like a low off of Hon/Nic. Appears to be at the surface. Not to much convection though. The ULL is sheering off all the conv. What is everyones thoughts?

I was intrigued by this area last night, but it doesn't look too promising right now. Maybe when the southern end of the wave associated with 94L gets there something can get started north of Nicaragua and move into the Gulf. I'm not holding my breath, though.

A lot of the models are calling for the trough to start migrating west in the next couple of days, none too soon. But I think the NW Caribbean will be good to go in 2 or 3 days if there's anything left to develop. :x
