If a person is not supportive of JB, then why on earth would they watch his videos?

Its clear that some can choose to run JB down on a public forum as this, but if he does it concerning the NHC or any other agency, on a privately owned and run site, then he is the unprofessional one.

Who is that question to, me? (Btw, check your PM's). I don't support Accuweather and believe that JB is the only thing they've got going for them. I like what he's got to say, but you have to get past the hype sometimes. That's not a problem. I've probably learned more from him on the internet from 3 years of reading his columns than I have from anyone else. That doesn't mean I'm going to fork out my hard earned money to a company making a power play to take it anyway.

There are no questions, I was merely making statements. Your message here is clear and I'm glad you made your position clear. We all know everyone has their own style and present themselves in fifferent ways in their colums, videos, etc..... Its no secret that Accuweather is a theatrical style of weather news. Hey but who cares, its what you learn from one another that makes you grow, not meaning just you, but me and everyone else. The only reason I butt in every once and a while, whenever I see bashing going on is because, as a business man I can appreciate the monies and financial risks taken by privetely owned weather services. They get out there and make investments that have to make it worth their clients subscribing to, and believe me it works, otherwise there wouldnt be so many doing it. The guys that are in government funded agencies via our tax dollar, dont have to worry about where their next dollar is coming from, because we gladly give our money to them annually via taxes. If I had my choice in taking my share of tax money and use it for weather information, I would find a local company that specializes in severe weather, but hey thats my choice. I am not for eliminating the NWS or NHC and their duties to the public, but would like to see accountability for what research they invest in annually. Private weather services should stay where they are at and should invest in their own equipment to obtain data and not demand it from others. Anyways I'm off my soapbox. Sorry!
