Just want to make sure everyone in the watch/warning areas are safe during this dangerous outbreak. Very rough couple days!

I hope that all are safe and dry.

I also wish everyone stays safe during this severe weather outbreak.
As David said, Bill (streetsoldier) was online when we were last night; I posted a thread indicating that he was under Tornado Watch and I am not sure if he ignored it or didn't have anything to add to it. I assume the latter.

If They Are Near
but not directly in areas hit by tornadoes or high winds, they may still be without power and unable to communicate.

You're welcome David. Bill, did indeed post in some threads last night, but not in the thread I created about his area being under a Tornado Watch.
Steve, that is possible. The area that got hit the worse could theoretically be without power longer than those that lost it and didn't get the worse damage.

Whew! Thanks for the concern, folks! One tornado warning
after another, all night and all day! I got about three hours
of sleep, last night, lying on the couch, between monitering
that vicious line of storms and the weather radio, blasting away!
I just drove home in a tornado warning for Maury County,
with high winds, marble-sized hail, and street flooding, but,
we're quiet in Lawrence County, for the moment! Another
round of tornado warnings are cropping up in west TN, along
the Mississippi River, heading our way...
So, Bill was on last night - what about Garrett? Think he's
still at his Mom's?

Glad that you are safe and fine but lookout to your west and if severe weather goes to your area be as safe as possible.
Garrett hasn't posted today but hopefully he does so soon.
