Might be a hint of some turning south of Jamaica

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

It msut be my old eyes. I have not been able to come up with that twisting any time I have looked at it today. However, this appears to be a potent system with lots of potential and according to most things I read it is all slowly starting to come together. We'll see if it can get together, stay together and produce something, probably within 36-72 hours.

heh. :)

btw, is there any way that the board can just do a general disclaimer that all posts are IMHO. Maybe I'll add it to my sig or something.

The NW Caribbean is getting way too much hype. It's a tropical wave and no more. Conditions are unfavorable for development. Nothing will come of it not matter how hard you look at it!

even if it develops, by the time it gets its act together, it will be running out of room so maybe a storm with a little wind and rain...that's about it.

Run out of room? It has the NW Caribbean sea, then the entire Gulf of Mexico.

Plenty of room! Remember storms like Camile, Opal, etc.....the Gulf can be a dangerous origin point.
