have a safe flight back to ATL. Those long flights are horrible... I though 9 hours from ORD (Chicago) to Frankfurt Germany was bad.. I guess not. Enjoy your time in Japan

we were considerably north of Tokyo; the very northern part of that island in Misawa. Beautiful temps, 50s/60s in the morning, 70s during the day.

I'm back!!! It was a 27 HOUR TRIP BACK!!!! We left Misawa at 8am, flew from their airport to Haneda airport in Tokyo, took a 90 minute bus ride to Narita airport in Tokyo, sat there for a couple of hours, flew from Narita to Atlanta (12.5 hours with a GREAT tail wind) and then sat in Atlanta for 6 hours......Then the 1 hour flight home.

Darn that Atlanta airport. Got in at 2:30pm, made it through immigrations and customs in record time only to be delayed by the weather. Didnt get out of there until 9pm!!! Boy, I am one tired puppy. Couldnt sleep worth a hoot here either.....

but it's good to be back.

Atlanta sucks... it's a pain just to go pick someone up there. Way too busy.

Oops: I just assumed Tokyo when I saw Japan. Stupid me... I know the island is huge.
