Rob, I know what the problem is I just don't know how to fix it, it says GMT time which is why the posts I read are at least 12 hours ahead of me LOL...now any help as to how to get my time with the rest of yours would be greatly appreciated!

We got a little over seven inches!! YAY :D

lol raine....yeah I'm sick of it already. The guys here will have a chat session every saturday night @ 8pm and all you have to do is click the link up top and instead of 'Guest' I put my name in and usually no one is on there so I wind up talking to myself! lol I guess I'll wait too until Sat and see what goes on! Back to snow...our gutters on the front of my house must be close to a foot thick...not good! We need a warmup!

I'll send my boy up to you Rob, he's 11 and already has more money in his bank then I have in mine! He's always looking for more jobs to earn more money LOL!

I clicked the chat link already, I got the security warning thingy that I later found out was okay to say yes to.But I clicked "no" not understanding and now I don't get that little window anymore giving me that option to accept, all I get is the starchat screen...*sigh* oh well, eventually I'll work it out :D

Just say NO to a warm up fella, the colder and snowier the happier raine is! :D

lol well...I love snow and I just hate the cold that comes with it....especially this year's! I also dont hope the warm weather comes too quickly either since we still have almost a 2 foot pack here and plenty more north of here on the mountains. We're due for a flood after the hottest summer and one of the coldest winters...cant wait to see what we get come spring. Time to stoke the fire once more!

During that half-inch of snow (barely) I got, the next morning, the temperature fell to 17 at Charleston, and I went down to 13 ... (wind chills around 0!!!) ...

Would have been a whole lot better if I would have had 6" of snow on the ground ... hell, I woulda got a day off!!!!!! :D

Sounds cold in Charleston! I really like that city. I visited there a few years back. It was in the spring, though.

It's a beautifu city and the beaches are wonderful ... ashame that I don't get down there as much as I could since I'm only 25 miles away.
17 is quite cold ....

Since 1994 - CHS officially has only had 9 days below 20. Two this year, 17 on the 23rd, and 19 on the 24th - the first back to back lows in the teens since 1994.

I feel like I am at TWC... I don't chat on message boards often. I will try to come visit some.

Hello Jason/LightKeeper, nice to see you here. :)

I set my time zone here at Storm2K during the week, but as I mentioned in another forum... the time posted on our messages is about 8 minutes fast. Would be nice to have the official time on such a great site. :D

Morning everyone! Jason...nice for you to come on over from the now defunct and less challenged TWC boards! You'll find that this place has maybe much less members, but also can keep up with the chat over @ TWC!

Chad...when the channel screen is up do you need that # before the strom2k for it to read: #storm2k ? If so, maybe thats why I didnt see anyone, also I didnt on just the 'other' channel withough that # added.

I have been up since 5:30 am and just watching news and waiting for the site to come up. Seemed like it was 'off' awhile this morning.

Have a good one guys and gals...I'll be wandering the halls here @ storm2k HS! :D

Just a side note: I tried going to TWC to see what if anything was going on this morning...guess what ... CANNOT FIND SERVER message! (What's new?!)

Anyway the activity is a LOT LESS.

Wayyyyyy less. I noticed that their PBS is 'pinned' now and there's only a handful of that crowd even left. Seems like EJ, chynadoll, and Big Dave are the only ones holding up the boards during the night hours...to be blunt: Its DEAD over there......hmmmmmm wonder why? Muahhhhh! :fist:

Could it be because I am not posting over there ROB? Okay...so maybe it was more than me. Seriously though, it is a lot slower. A lot of people are gone.
