what will this mean? Also, what impact with the EPAC "system" have on #3?

The broad circulation should survive without a problem, the Yucatan is flat and moisture laden. So its not like it's gonna get ripped apart by the mountains of Hispaniola like in other cases.
I wouldn't expect any significant strengthening, but it could become more organized as it moves over the peninsula.

I hate to say it, but I'm beginning to agree with you. Earlier when you said it was moving NW, it threw me off because it wasn't. Now it does look like a better center is forming.
