Actually, as long as it stays a storm, I won't complain a bit if the NHC is right and it heads this way .... I would LOVE a good rainy day or two, and God only knows we need it....

I'm just worried that it might get stronger....

I'm surprised the NHC didn't forecast it to dissipate over the GOM like the GFS says....

Man, I stepped out for a few hours and come back to a depression (soon to be storm in GOM) that looks really good by the way and a really strong tropical wave entering the eastern carib. that looks on its way to becoming a depression real soon also. How much difference a few hours make

I swear I just heard a local met say that TD 3 would be a hurricane by tommorrow. I wont mention his station but it is on the lower end of the tv dial. I dont believe that will be the case and I am hoping that it wont become one at all. A nice rain for a day or two would be a great change of pace though.
