I wouldn't get to caught up in that NW movement just yet, as I said earlier it's probably just part of the process of consolidating and getting better organized.

I agree I think it will be east of Texas when it hits, maybe as far east as Mississippi.

I think the LA/TX line is a good bet right now. Houston to Vermillion Bay, Cat II, hopefully no worse.

seems like the pattern has been shifting more toward the east...perhaps continuing tomorrow as well

As some of had feared, the center has reformed futher north of the original........MGC

Not much of a shift... a faster landfall, Wednesday in Louisiana it appears. Watch up to the Mouth of the Mississippi south of New Orleans.
