T.D.#4 on the 4th of july??

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

It's "shouting," which is considered really loud. It's also more difficult to read (unless it's an NWS or NHC discussion).

On the internet... chats and email all caps is seen as "yelling", plus it's bad on the eyes. The only thing I want to see in all caps is NWS/NHC/SPC products

Getting back on topic... it's very possible.

OK I'll say it'll be a TD by the end of tomorrow, maybe sooner.

What can I say, I'm feeling lucky :D

They started that way back when the NWS was created, LOL, and they've never changed it. Back then it wasn't so easily accessible like it is today. You usually had it read to you, so you didn't know it was all caps.

on our potential td #4.....mm5 has fallen in love with the 59w wave, takes it, as a "significant" cylone(read hurricane), over central cuba into the fla straits at 144 hours. nogaps is less enamored and takes a tropical low to near key west at 144 hours. models runs: mm5-070300z....ngps-070312z.....i'm sure they will shift with time but it got my attention, in spades  ......................comments welcome as always.......rich
