Another potentially big issue with Three...flooding
If the track works with current forecast thinking...we could see another decently large problem near the landfall area...inland flooding with a slow moving system...i'll rest with that. Goodnight folks.

I thought I'd bump this since it still seems like it may be an issue, and since it was posted early early in the morning. Still, a drift across the Gulf states could drop alot of rain, especially if it remains closer to the Gulf as opposed to moving well inland. Even if the storm never strengthens alot, I really hope people prepare for the system at the coast and well inland.

NC, this is SOOO true. We remember Allison here VIVIDLY. She wasn't a strong TS, and she made landfall well west of here, but she caused A LOT of flooding. I moved out of my apartment (in Thibodaux, Lafourche Parish) because of her.
