This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

2005 quite busy so far...

#1 Postby PerfectStorm » Mon Jul 04, 2005 7:52 am

Compare 2004 to 2005 and we find ourselves at the third storm on the weekend of July 4th. Hurricane Alex formed on July 31st of last year. Charley was the third storm forming on August 9th. The actual number of storms for 2005 is looking to be incredibly high. One good thing is that the storms so far are weak. Looks like things are going to rapidly change, though, as the newer waves (depression) are entering the picture and looking healthier.
