OK where is TD 3's center?

What's everyones take on where TD 3's center is located?

My take is that it is now an open wave. I cannot find any center using surface obs or satellite. It got ripped apart by strong SSW wind aloft overnight.

So does it redevelope once over the GOM?

i think she has relocated much farther north...seems to be if it has it will be moving over water sooner

Things looking up for the gulf coast. Its going to lose valuable strengthening time reorganizing today.

Saw that coming. I'm not celebrating, but this is a negative thing for Cindy...this probably hurt its chances to become a strong hurricane.

Looks like it is reforming over the the NE tip of the Yucatan.

Sounds to me like it may end up dying out before reforming itself in the BOC..

1 of our 3 hurricanes did something like that in the Atlantic last year.. Her name was Jeanne..

It's not going to reform in the BOC.

I think we under estimate the Yucatan Pennisula in it's impact on tropical cyclones. This just became a TD before it hit there, and it really wasn't moving fast at all.

Well.. It has to make a trip into the BOC before it goes northward into the GOM..

So.. I think our "Cindy" wanna be will end up reforming somewhere around there..

It also had pretty strong SW shear overnight. That along with the Yucatan ripped her a bit.

wxman 57, is that southerly shear going to continue throughout the day? I don't even remember it being a factor yesterday? If not will conditions drastically improve with time? Thanks.

This is where I say the center is. Not looking at reports, just watching sat loops. I also think it's still moving NW or NNW and those storms to the NE got blew away by the shear. That was throwing me off earlier, but I do believe it's going to be re-emerging over water and she's not done yet. Just my thoughts.

I think the center is now in the gulf...sitting north of the yucatan...at about 21.3N / 88.4W. We'll have to see once we get some vis shots...but that is my hunch right now.

With all the SW shear blowing the tops off the depression from the E-PAC depressions' outflow it seems difficult to tell where the center is, and what direction the depression on the atlantic side is going.
