The latest IR images from the floater indicate that convection is beginning to fire over the center of the circulation. This could be a hint that this
system is now starting to organize itself.

The local met from WTVM in Columbus, GA just said a few minutes ago that he thought it had gotten much better organized in the last few hours.

Outflow is looking better on the SE side of the TD.

Yes, it appears convection is starting to wrap the new center. If this trend continues than it has a good shot a TS tonight......MGC

Hey Everyone,

Got access to a computer here in Grand Isle,La. Word is beginning to get around. Still many people unaware of a storm in the GOM.

Evacuations of this area may begin tomorrow. Thats it for now, I will update when I can.. Beginning to see outflow.
