surprised on no change in watch area...
I really expected then to extend the watch east with this advisory. Why did they not moved it east, if they have shifted their track east..heck the have it going OVER New Orleans, yet New Orleans is no in the watch "technically"

Yeah...as I look at the models and their track, it is rather rediculous. ALMOST every model has significant tropical moisture on the eastern side of this affecting mostly NOLA eastward to Mobile...These areas are now MORE in the cone than western LA...yet western LA is under a watch even though they are going to be on the weak side. Seems like somebody at the NHC has some splaining to do.
