CAt 1 no problem!!!!!!
I guess that all of the stong storms of late (2004) have conditioned people to write off Cat 1 storms. Here in La strong ts can have a big impact. I wish people would quit acting like a TS or cat 1 is nothing but an afternoon storm.

What's the big deal ?, the only thing they cancelled today is the G IV mission. There is absoulutely no need for a high altitude synopic mission into Cindy, there is no doubt where she is going at this point. That money will be much better spent flying missions for Dennis which they will probably do daily. Hardly breaking news.

I'm confused... they are cancelling all the remaining missions into Cindy? That really makes no sense.

Now after tomorrow morning I agree, it's going to be inland.

Change the station on the Texas A&M site to "KWBC".

(is about to scream in frustration)

Only today's Gulfstream IV (upper air) mission was cancelled.

The other missions are still on schedule.

The next recon has an ETA of 1745Z (40 minutes from now) ...

I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to make you look bad. The theme of the whole thread is confusing. Again, sorry I wasn't trying to make an example of you in particular.
