When will we start seeing vortex messages from the hurricane hunters?

The 1PM advisory made it sound like they would be out very soon.

Assuming 300 knot flight speed, the plane should be in the vicinity of the center right about now...

This is about 20 nautical miles northeast (corrected) of the previous dropsonde, which appeared to be in the eye....

That would be Northeast right? Your last dropzone showed 90.4.

(slaps forehead) Yes, that would be northeast of the first dropsonde... (I was puzzling why they would have the second dropsonde to the northwest... didn't make sense... /me wishes he had a nice big chart to plot on...his wee little mind is being overwhelmed trying to visualize all this)
