Just an on screen met guy...not one of the specialists.

Its just so contradictory.

Says its unorganized (for a TS its pretty damn organized) and in an area unfavorable for development...then says it'll be a hurricane and blah blah blah throughout the rest of the teleprompter reading.

:fools: That's it - he was just kidding, right? April Fool's a little late perhaps? He couldn't have really said that and meant it, could he? *putting it on TWC now*

Would not surprise me... I heard them say that about Cindy a few dyas ago when the forecasts kept calling for intensification and that conditions were become more favorable..

Makes me wonder if they are trying to seperate themselves a bit and show they have a real pair and make a forecast???.. Who knows.. :?:  :yayaya:

the storm does look good and that vortex was the surprise of the century

I never would have imagined that this would have been the outcome of the recon, we find a poorly organized storm that looks like a 55KT storm

Would it be a valid opinion then to say that once it is well defined...look out?

If the LLC is not in good shape, then the storm is trash. The LLC is the tropical cyclone and it doesn't matter how good it looks from the outside when it's dirty on the inside.

Latest images indicate a consolidation of the system and with this comes a better-defined LLC tonight...
