slowing down

#21 Postby Hurricane_chaser092580 » Tue Jul 05, 2005 8:33 pm

After looking at IR loop it definitely looks like its beginning to slow down... at last check it was at 16 mph, by the 11pm advisory I think it will be down to 14 mph..If so even though the ridge looks to be holding strong it might be something to watch for. In addition Cindy's unexpected strength, the further ease she goes the more the ridge will erode. I think no along the gulf coast is out of the woods yet.

mean come on. Your ignorance only becomes more apparrent with each post. And you still have to show me most of the storm on radar no just a leading edge of the center region at the farthest outer reaches of the radar. lol

Your calling me ignorant yet you automatically disregard any evidence of a westward movement because its from Aruba (A country with a cheap radar that is not NEARLY capable as the all-powerful NHC American radars)

Believe what you want....ill take radar evidence any day.

Fine show me on radar a full image letting you see the storm in at least 2/3 of its entirety... so that you canaccurately down to a milimiter pinpoint the centers location on your screen. Meanwhile the nhc has resources well beyond what you do... along with your little radar ;)

Eric your unqualified arrogance is getting down right annoying. There is no need to be argumentative here..

I think its time to refer everybody to the "Let's play Nice" thread. Come on, there is no reason to argue about this, what happens to Dennis will happen, take it in a little at a time.

I have no reason to want a major cane. I'm in Memphis!

I understand that some like to experience tropical storms or weak hurricanes because of they don't much damage and can even be a little fun to some, but to want a cat 3 or more is just crazy.

I feel bad for saying this but I was pissed last year for having no power for 3 days. After what those pople directly hit last year went throiugh...I cannot imagine that..sad!!! Thats why I can't understand why people want a big storm. Hope the misunderstanding is cleared up now :P

True...The pattern has shifted back to the norm over the Atlatnic. When there is alot more storms. In over the last 50 years we have built homes/business an there path. While no storms have threaten the coast. History shows that was a mistake. O boy things don't look good.

Tell me thats not due west.

*Also, refer to posts by AFM on the NHC center misplacement earlier today.

lol, so now there is a CONSPIRACY at the nhc.

i'm sorry but i'll take the nhc's better resources and ability to locate a storms center over ANYONE using a cheap half of a tiny radar anyday.

Erica...

I can gurantee you that AFM is not using a "cheap half of a tiny radar"....

AFM is one of the best mets here...

Isn't it ironic that you made an unecissary post JUST to argue that i should not argue???? thats too cute

I still stand by that if you can't see the storm clearly and at least be able to see well around the center of circulation, there is no way for you to pinpoint it down to an exact spot.
Mabye if this was developed with an eye, that would be another story. But its not. I don't have time to argue with you all on this board. I have much more important things to do i my life.

I have been studying weather and thermodynamics for a long time, if you claim to know more. Go ahead and prove it on these boards. You sir and others like you are the reasons i don't make informative thought provoking posts on here.

This is the end of this charade, thanks for playing.
I don't have time or care to play these games with children.

Well if you have been studying weather as long as you have say, you would.....

A. Notice that the storm is moving west and has been all day, especially when given CONCRETE evidence.

B. Know that any radar is acceptable, not just NHC radars.

Glad your done, goodbye.

Nothing wrong with wanting this to be a major cane. Hell I am jelous of the people this hits. I wish we would get a hurricane in California. People in the SE are very lucky for the canes they get. The get to experience something most other people never get to.
