Actually Slowing Down may only help it to go further west. It would allow any chance of the Trough that is going to be moving out from picking the Storm up and bringing it north. Then it would be forced west by the Ridge.
Then again thats what I see some people trying to argue. I dont really know though and dont want to sound like a fool...lol.

Nothing wrong with wanting this to be a major cane. Hell I am jelous of the people this hits. I wish we would get a hurricane in California. People in the SE are very lucky for the canes they get. The get to experience something most other people never get to.
Are you kidding me...? The SE is very lucky to get hit by hurricanes? What planet are you on?

I think I disagree (but what do I know) as a weakness in the ridge caused by Cindy will allow Dennis to move more north, not a trough, at least not right now or anytime soon before it enters the gulf.

Then again it could work in the oppisite way also. The Storm slowing down could allow the Trough to weaken the Bermuda Ridge and allow the thing to go further north.
Also slowing down will allow the center to consolidate more, but will also cause much more rainfall on the Islands it is going to go over.

The Trough Im talking about is what picking Cindy up and causing here to move to the Northeast. It is what caused Cindy not to go into Texas. Dt has talked about this trough and said that if it gets within 11-12 degrees longitude of Dennis it will cause the Cyclone to feel the effects of it and turn it more north.

Isn't it ironic that you made an unecissary post JUST to argue that i should not argue????thats too cute
I still stand by that if you can't see the storm clearly and at least be able to see well around the center of circulation, there is no way for you to pinpoint it down to an exact spot.
Mabye if this was developed with an eye, that would be another story. But its not. I don't have time to argue with you all on this board. I have much more important things to do i my life.
I have been studying weather and thermodynamics for a long time, if you claim to know more. Go ahead and prove it on these boards. You sir and others like you are the reasons i don't make informative thought provoking posts on here.
This is the end of this charade, thanks for playing.
I don't have time or care to play these games with children.

I have yet to see you post anything informative. Most of your posts are argumentative..
