i'd think it will just remain light to allow for a gradual development. Think the RI window has closed for a couple of days. Still could be a cane later today.

This is very similar to Charley ast year when it started under a large ridge aloft, then a UL formed between that UH and the UH over Bonnie

no outflow on the SW side.

Looks like 15-20KT of shear is over this now. Entire SW side is a flat edge
