DENNIS Forecast Winds
I live in Pensacola and im very concerned right now, ive been looking at the forecast winds and they seem to keep it at 100kt, does anyone know if they see something to stop him from strengthening or do they just not want to scare people right now?

They are being conservative(IMO). It very well may stop at 100 kt, but rarely if ever will you see the NHC increase the winds beyond 72 hours(no point and no skill), so this is pretty normal. Understand if it's goes on the right side of their cone it's over Florida and thus, wouldn't be strengthening anymore, so they take into account that too.
That said, Ivan was a 105 kt Cat 3 and we see the major issues it caused.
