Texas Summer,, BLOWN OUT OF PROPORTION!!!!!!!

#1 Postby North Texas » Wed Jul 06, 2005 12:44 pm

alot of people comment on how bad it is.... but people forget about marfa and the big bend which is in the 50s everynight where the elevation is 8,000 feet. and the panhandle too... its extremely dry.... theres no humidity out there in marfa and alpine.... the southeastern states r much worse then texas because of the humididity with the exeption of south and southeast texas... and people from south tx have been talkin about the heat in north texas and i live in Dallas and its not that bad the humidity has been 30-40 percent for like 2 weeks it hasnt been bad at all.. south and especially southeast tx is where the humidity is... its been very dry in Dallas Ft.worth... for like 2 weeks humidity has been very low 30-40 percent ive been checking every day.... the southeastern states are much hotter and especially humid then Texas is as a whole................

Abviously you haven't spent many summers in Texas. We haven't even started the "hot part" yet.

1999....26 100 degree days
2000....27 100 degree days
