NHC Track Forecast Error

24 hour NHC track forecast error:

On 7/05/05 at 21Z Dennis was located near 14.2N 68.3W
the 7/06/06 18Z forecast position was 17.0N 73.4W
actual 7/06/06 was 16.0N 72.5W

Dennis is moving along to the left of NHC forecast position. Ivan tracked left of NHC forecast positions for much of its track through the Caribbean. Does this mean Dennis will? No, however Dennis is following a similar track error........MGC

MGC, I've been say this most of the day, looks like, so far anyway, he's been on the bottom part of the cone...will probably change, but reviewing past plot positions throughout the day, this was indeed the case.
