Dr. Bill is projecting a hit between Gulfport, Ms. and Pensacola for center crossing, doesnt look good. I know for a fact he uses their own model for forecasting storm movement and it has always out performed the others. In a way its as good as the one FSU runs. In fact here is a link to their site so you can read qualifications of staff and i believe the model is developed and named after his associate at the university. His name is Dr. Keith Blackwell.

I know Dr. Bill personally. He is a straight shooter. He has a number of offshore and onshore customers. If he is saying that I would be worried.

I'm a USA grad and used to enjoy watching the guys in the CWRC at the Mitchell Center while I was in school. Dr. Bill is pretty good and that's why I was curious about what he said.

he says we should be very concerned, he's most likely right. If Dennis arrives as large and strong as he is now, we'll be in much trouble if he's a little east of Mobile.

Who's still cleaning up and repairing from Ivan? I know many folks still sporting blue tarps in lieu of roofing. This could be disastrous.

still cleaning up from Ivan. Still waiting for rental company to fix roof issues (no leaks just missing shingles) and Still missing vinyl siding on the back of the house that does leak. Has been patched but will rip off the rest of the siding when Dennis comes. woohooo

I feel bad for others but I kinda wish it would keep on turning west. But to many models make it look very "Ivan" -ish
