Serious situation for NOLA, MS, AL FL panhandle....

#1 Postby Guest » Thu Jul 07, 2005 7:07 am

We are still fighting the insurance wars here on the gulf coast, especially in around Pensacola. The beaches and waterfront along Ms. AL. and Fl are not ready for another major storm. Property is still not ready to endure a major cane. Piles of rubble blanket the streets along the beaches south of Pensacola. It would be a mess that is unimagineable.

Same goes for a lot of people in Central Florida and the areas hit by Charley, Jeanne and Frances.

Scarce gas

#4 Postby rolltide » Thu Jul 07, 2005 7:15 am

Gas is starting to run low in parts of Pensacola. I saw several places where there was no regular gas and a couple with no gas at all. Also gas cans are in short supply. I would strongly suggest you get what you need ASAP or you may not be able to later.

It looks like it may stay to our east. Looks like another Gulf Shores hit. Anything can change and I know we are not letting our guard down. But, it just my gut feeling that it will go to the east of southeast Louisiana.

This all sounds wayyyyy to familiar and it's soooo early in the season looks like those Insurance Adjuster's will be making multiple trips to the same locations this year as well..

Unfortunately, I'm afraid your right. :(

These areas also do not need rain(nor do inland areas around here), so major flooding is going to be likely especially if Dennis is in no hurry to get out of here.

Hey Aquawind, stay safe down there, I have a feeling it's going to be a close call for the west coast of Florida again.

Why do you think that? I have an awful feeling. I hope I am wrong.
