I don't see a hook on it now. Let's hope it stays that way. Tornado warning in nearby Georgetown county.

I'm okay everyone, thanks for your concern ... I'm one of the those storm spotters that spotted the Ladson Tornado ... we've had two tornadoes strike ... one in Ladson - 2 miles East and one in Summerville (Dorchester Rd.) I was on my way home from work, and had stopped off at a convenience store, when I talked to the Charleston WFO when he advised me to take cover immediately ... THE STORM WAS UNBELIEVABLY DARK ... The skies were almost pitch black.
Golf-ball sized hail pounded the Summerville area. It appears now that I'm out of the danger now, though, we're still getting strong thunderstorms in the area. Where I was at during the height picked up 60 mph winds at one point, but no hail fortunately.

More damage has been reported ...
Summerville, SC a confirmed tornado by the police department (Clemson Terrace in Jedburg and at the intersection of Ashley Phosphate and Dorchester Rd) near where 1.00" diameter hail was reported and another tornado in Summerville, on Deming way, a roof was torn off an industrial plant and sheet metal and metal blown about out and around the area - the tornado also apparently struck the Police station as well.

I had to wait until the lightning subsided somewhat ... these types of thunderstorms aren't common to become this severe in the Lowcountry, and this is the most active day since the Mother's Day tornado back in 1998 (MAY 10th).
I will have full details and I'm sure Charleston WFO will also have details as well ... which I will post both as soon as I can ... This has been quite a day.
