You all should change your locations to prevent me getting any more humor.

Anyways, the thing is moving NW. The ridge is weaker. Guess that "jog" I posted in "Beautiful eye" wasn't temporary.

The problem is this model brings a weak low into SW FL. A weak system is more suspectible to a weaker ridge. But that's not the case here as Dennis is at 968 mb and getting stronger. Sorry... not going into South Florida. Wave when it passes. 8-)

Don't feel bad... I did too.

But it's not off the NHC track, and the NHC has never projected anything east of a Panhandle landfall, so I don't see why that proves it's going into the Peninsula.

Bottom line appears to be we got models taking Dennis into SW LA (UKMET) and other models into FL Pennisula (CMD) .... that's a HUGE range there.... now compare that to a few days ago where the models were less than 100 miles apart on the 5 day outlook. Clearly models are having some challanges with this hurricane.

I know Brent, its so obvious the situation here and I've pointed it out since last night, but no one seems to believe it for some reason.

You're right. I stake my family's safety in the hands of a 39 year old virgin with coffee next to his computer.

Regardless, keep all eyes close. This is interesting.

jkt... i agree that this model solution is VERY shady due to the fact it wants to bring a weak low ashore, but I also want to state that SFL is not out of the woods by any stretch.

Ah, don't you love hurricane season?

Oh, yes, Brent, it's now down to 962 mb.....

BTW. I do hope the moderators take action against you. There is NOTHING to provoke a personal attack against me. I am stating an opinion, and maybe I sounded a bit harsh, but if you don't agree move on and ignore it, or at least be nice.

I'm so very sorry that the hurricane isn't going to hit you since you seem to want it. I was simply pointing out that the CMC DOES NOT bring a Cat 2 or Cat 3 into Florida...
