Models have been trending east however recently a trend back to the west has begun. This is just for one model run cycle though. We must wait before jumping on this...

When you guys say that the models are "trending" back west, please note that it takes more than one cycle to be a trend.

That's true. But it could also take different sets of modeling to also trend. It just depends on how you look at the plurality.

Hey...notice everyone who answered west is in the west. Now if the models were trending east at this moment like they were earlier today, I guarantee you it would be nothing but the people in the east to answer.

Someone please tell me what *new* models everyone is suddenly thinking they are seeing? As far as I knew, the GFS and all the other main models don't come out until almost Midnight. These will be very helpful because they will include the new IV data.
The old models were run at 6pm.
Are these new "trends" based on the 6pm runs? -or re-runs of the same data? Or am I totally off and models also run at 9pm with fresh input data?

I don't know... A lot of folks surely jumped quickly on those east trends.

so its old data. just a rerun of the system. -maybe with the most recent position plot though correct?
-but no considerable new data taken into account yet.

I'll wait for the midnight run. the intermediate is just hypothetical fluff.

oh excuse me....lets clarify.....the latest greatest newest model runs have shifted back towards the west....lets leave out the word TREND.
