Wobble I might add. Been wobbling north all day, average out its NW.

You added already that its wobble. However this has been consistent for several frames and a few more we're talking about more than just a wobble.

2 am data confirms this is more WNW now using coordinate data.

Yup, just saw it. It seems interesting that they're still saying NW... Perhaps disregarding this apparent wobble? However "paralleling the Cuban coast", as the NHC stated, would mean more of a WNW movement. I'm also surprised that Dennis maintained cat. 4 status. VERY surprised. And worried about what could happen now...

No reason to downgrade when its going to stay over very favorable conditions for several hours..it may have dropped slightly below Cat 4 status...but I'm sure recon data in the coming hours will support Category 4.

Also it might of been slightly stronger when they upgraded to cat4...The eye as it was moving in looked real good. That means that it could of been 140 mph at landfall. Who knows??? Because its about ready to bomb again.

Unless it is a distinct movement, and over more than say 1hr or 2, they should not change the movement.

Of course its getting better oreganized. Its over some of the hottest water on planet(For a ocean) earth. The enviroment is very favable.

Hey, that earlier stuff about "Houston, we've got a problem"; I took that as in Apollo 13. This has become part of the venacular (sp?), and I didn't think that it meant target: Houston at all.

With Dennis, I am by no means anywhere the caliber of the weather-gurus as I read here with great enjoyment, but with "Big D" already pushing CAT-4, I get all when I look at the water temps that are in the Gulf and Keys areas. Dennis comes over Cuba, soaks some of Castros' beard-lice, sees the warm waters ahead and says "Ohhhh Yeahhh!" like the Kool-Aid dude.
