She will have a news conference at 5PM to talk about their intentions with the contraflow and phased evac plan. If and when it becomes necessary.

the state has been very level-headed today so i assume that will continue...

they stopped jeff country from kicking off contraflow
they ruled new orleans elections would go on as scheduled tomorrow.


based on the official nola nws forecast of 25mph winds and a 30 percent chance of showers on sunday night....im assuming the news conference will be non-eventful

St Bernard Parish officials have cancelled the voluntary evacuation that was scheduled to be put into effect at 5pm this evening.
Great news for us. :)
