This link is off the BBC - reports from many in the past, present and future path of Dennis, as close to real time as possible.
If a heads up is still needed for those in the path of Dennis waffling - these stories might be a wake up call. And to those of us not in the path - a reminder to be ready.

* Pinellas County Florida has recommended evacuations for low lying areas and mobile homes effective 6 a.m. tomorrow. This according to WTFS out of Tampa.

governor urged everyone in mobile and baldwin counties to leave if they can. also, the head of alabama ema, bruce baughman, identified shelters will be available in montgomery and birmingham. our local ema director indicated that local shelters should be used as a last resort. this is so scary and crazy!

As was stated in another *new* thread...
according to WKRG... ALL of Mobile County and those parts of Baldwin county south of I-10 are under mandatory evacuations which go into effect 6 a.m. tomorrow.

The above statement is substantiated by NBC 15 in Mobile, who are reporting that over 500,000 people have been ordered to evacuate.

* New Orleans will be holding an 8 a.m. news conference tomorrow. This after they did not issue evacuations for the city this evening.
