All the Texans have finally left the boards. Now we're talking North Carolina? I thought I wouldn't ever stop seeing the Texas landfall posts Tuesday - Thursday even after they were out of the cone!!!

I remember that NC poster last year... classic.

The sat loops showed it just on the west side of Mexico for 45 minutes yesterday... why can't it make a quick hop of a visit to NC? Huh? HUH? *whistles innocently*

You've got it! The Republic of Vermont Hurricane Prediction Center has issued a hurricane watch for the northern Champlain Valley. Mandatory evacuation of tourists has begun in North and South Hero islands. There have been multiple requests from other communities in the state, most not in the projected path, to the Governor asking him to order a mandatory evacuation of their tourists, too :wink:
