Winds are starting to pick up in advance of this next feeder band, I bet more power outages are coming shortly.

OT and on the trivial side, but this thread reminded me - it might not be the best night to go see War of the Worlds.
On a serious note, it doesn't take a whole lot of wind for power outages, all things considered... that was clear from on-scene coverage last year of some of what S. Fla. started to experience with one of the hurricanes. A little wind, a branch hits a powerline. A little more... you get the picture.

Oddly enough, living in S Fla, this is the worst we've seen yet, atleast in my area, out of any of the 'canes (04 and 05)
