Keys dodging the bullet?
I know the storm has been wobbling alot today, but it seems now unless the storm make a strong north turn ( which looks unlikely) the Keys might be ok. Obviously they will still get some rough weather, but not the core of the storm. Hopefully the westerly wobbles hold through the evening and maybe if it stays over land, Dennis will weaken further than projected.
I don't wish this thing on anyone, but the further away from Florida, the better!

Hoping that we don't see Dennis's eye (which seems unlikely). (Saw back part of the eye on Irene a few years ago and it was spectacular!)
Glad to hear you are OK. I've been watching the webcam at:

Looks pretty windy with stuff blowing around. Sure seems like a lot of traffic sometimes!

Wow, I've never seen Duval so wet, windy and empty before!

It's like a ghost town, dotted with a few young folks determined to cruise the boulevard umimpeded...
edited to include: you can hear the wind gusts.
Yeah, I just saw that. People are walking around quite a bit too.
