I am curious how this image fits into the scenario of dry air, that with the very high water temps in the middle of the gulf. what else is needed to regain the strength

And I hate to say it, but right now you can almost watch the darn thing exploding before your eyes, from IR satellite frame to satellite frame.
Dennis was suffocating and like a man robbed of air he is now taking a big breath. From my basicly newbie view of the information and sat images I see no reason why Dennis won't regain his former stength.
