Take a look at the last two frames on Ir

#1 Postby Matt-hurricanewatcher » Sat Jul 09, 2005 7:48 am

Deep reds are reforming around the eye. The outflow has spreaded out greatly. It did this very thing before it bombed last night which is form a round deep cdo right over the center. In the eye was in the middle. The shear is low. With the water warm. Now watch it closely because it might do it again...

I'm thinking the pressure will drop 20 milibars between now an landfall. I also think it will be around 130 to 135 mph. Landfall about 100 to 150 miles east of Mobile.

This is not a offical forecast please fellow the nhc...

You mean you weren't scared before? What are you still doing there, I would have probably left. What are your officials telling you?

Yeah....looks like he's recovering fairly rapidly this morning. I was hoping I'd luck out and not have to go help my friend board up this morning. Guess I'll hit the road.

BTW, he lives 6 miles from Gulf Shores. Hope they let me in.

Matt's right - this thing is exploding.

We may well see a cat 3 at the 11AM advisory.

Hey, thanks for the heads up. I didn't want to have to load up all my stuff, drive all that way and have to turn around and come back.

Good luck.
