with all due respect, a funnel cloud is not my idea of "breaking news"...

if this were the case, we will have 15 versions of breaking news threads in the next 24 hours.

LOL Tpa... I had actually just left st cloud around 5pm.. On the bus ride home.. We got this VERY NASTY squall line come through.. On the way home.. I saw minor damage reported..

Damage such as loose things that should have been tied down were thrown away from their original locales.. and my apartment complex also had 3 small trees uprooted..

No major damages yet.. But I'm being very careful here.. I'm kinda surprised they didn't extend the tornado watch a little bit longer

The report was unfounded. The funnel cloud was reported at Old Tampa highway and Donegan Ave. That intersection doesn't exist. Those 2 roads are miles apart and run parallell. I am at work today and the report was not confirmed.

Are you sure Tampa and Donegan don't exist.. Donegan is only about 4 blocks from my place..

I'm not entirely familiar with what it intersects besides Michigan or John Young,

I know where Donegan is but I can't remember which road it intersects with either. I don't live there but I use to years years ago.

Old Tampa Hwy is south of town and runs through Campbell City. Donegan Ave runs from Thacker Ave across John Young, the Trail, and ends at Michigan Ave.
