If we get tornado's up here in alaska I'm moving to canada.
I don't think this is a "cycle" at all. Of course we have been dealing with severe climate change up here for bout 5 years now , so it's a little harder to convince us alaskans that waky weather is just a fluke. From what I can tell it's a pefectly natural progression to have more and stronger hurricanes given a warming overal climate. I personally think this is a trend not a cycle.

Well I mean if the weather actually goes to truly pot up here (we just in recent years started to get regular T-stroms in south central) and we start getting stuff like tornado's where does one go?
Lets see , I could move to the interior of alaska (I'll actually probly be going to collage to persue a PH.D in atmosphereic science starting next year) , there I can enjoy record forest fires and building collapse due to not so perma perma-frost.
Or I could head to the lower 48 , now there is a charming idea:
SW US: Deadly hot (to an alaskan) , drought.
NW US: Probly the only stable area
Central US : North you get tornados, middle flooding and tornados , south hurricans and flooding.
Eastern US: You get whatever is leftover from the central US.
So if I was to move to avoid weather it would basicly be Seattle or Canada.

Yeah but we have that up here too so in and of itself that wouldn't be so bad. Plus I'll take geological events over atmospheric anyday if your trying to avoid moter nature getting you.
I personally don't make my living choices based on weather , however I've had a lot of discussion about it recently since my mother is getting near her retirement age and can't figure out where to go to peacefully retire.
